How Clumsy Wumsy came to life?

They say that the best works are created when we reach emotional high, like falling in love, or emotional low, like death. Some 40 years ago my daughter Dahlal was born, which filled my heart with love and made me the happiest person on Earth. She was only one year old when I got the most devastating news that my beloved father passed away. I was overwhelmed with mixed emotions and needed an outlet to cope. I started to write and, through my daughter’s eyes, rediscovered how children see the world and what their needs are. It took me a long time to illustrate the book and refine the manuscript. When I finished, my emotions were under control, and I put the book aside.

Life took over and many years passed until one day I was decluttering and came across the long-forgotten book. I decided to finally publish it and have my 5 grandchildren, and many others, enjoy the story of Clumsy Wumsy. So here we are…. I hope you enjoy reading it to your child and have fun with the suggested activities.
