How Clumsy Wumsy came to life?

They say the most profound creations are born from the highest joys and the deepest sorrows. Forty years ago, my heart overflowed with love when my daughter, Dahlal, came into the world. She was my greatest joy, my brightest light. But just a year later, my world was shaken by the heartbreaking loss of my beloved father.

Caught between immense love and profound grief, I turned to writing as a way to navigate my emotions. Through my daughter’s innocent eyes, I rediscovered the magic of childhood—the wonder, the curiosity, and the simple yet powerful needs of a child’s heart. Page by page, I poured my emotions into a story. The illustrations took time, and with each stroke, each word, I found healing. By the time the book was finished, I had made peace with my emotions, and I set it aside.

Life moved forward, as it always does. The years passed, filled with new memories and adventures. Then, one day, while decluttering, I stumbled upon my long-forgotten manuscript. Holding it in my hands, I knew it was time to share this story—not just with my five wonderful grandchildren, but with children everywhere.

And so, Clumsy Wumsy was finally brought to life. I hope this book brings you and your little one as much joy as it has brought me. May it spark laughter, curiosity, and cherished moments together. Enjoy the journey!
